The Indianapolis Monumental Marathon has been announced as the lucky winner of a free MYLAPS EventApp last week at the Running USA Conference in Los Angeles. Executive Director Blake Boldon received a free voucher for a fully customized app for his running event in November.
Over 70,000 Hong Kong Marathon runners were, for the first time, able to share their achievements on Facebook. They generated a stunning 1.9 million impressions (views) on Facebook. Their social shares on Facebook (before, during and after the race) resulted in an enormous increase of race experience for participants and spectators of one of the world’s biggest marathons. The Hong Kong Marathon used the MYLAPS SocialShares module, which extremely expanded the reach of the event.
