On January 29th, 2012, more than 7.500 runners from all over the world will take part in one of the most prestigious marathons in the world. The magical town of Marrakech offers an exceptional setting and a beautiful circuit considered as one of the fastest in the world.

The marathon will be timed by our MYLAPS partner ´Running Sports Events International´ with the MYLAPS BibTag System. The international Marathon of Marrakech is not only expected to reconquer the prime position among the world most prestigious Marathon's, but also is likely to become the obvious International meeting to the marathon's biggest stars. In 2012 the International Marathon of Marrakech will be the only Olympic Games qualifying marathon event on the African continent.
