Introduction

After years of research and development we are proud to introduce the new MYLAPS RC4 standard for timing and data services. In 1982 we introduced automatic timing solutions in the RC world, and since then we keep improving it. Now, in 2009, we bring an entirely new standard to further enhance your race experience.

Your first step into this new world is the new RC4 Hybrid transponder with the following benefits:

• NEW design: half the size, half the weight
• Comes with a holder to easily switch transponder between cars
• CE approved
• Better quality cable (PTFE) that is racing fuel resistant

It is hybrid in the sense that it works on all tracks where a MYLAPS RC2 or RC3 Timing System is installed, as well as the new MYLAPS RC4 Timing System, which will be available in February 2010. Ask your club, local track or race organization what system they support, and tell them about our attractive offer to upgrade to the MYLAPS RC4 Timing System!

How it works

MYLAPS RC4 Hybrid Transponders work in combination with the MYLAPS RC Timing System installed on the track at the start/finish line and optionally at intermediate points along the track.

Every time you cross these timing points, your transponder sends a signal to a detection loop embedded in the track. Based on these signals, the system records your lap time and lap counts.

Your lap times and results can be published on:

• mylaps.com (via your MYLAPS account)
• Scoreboards/monitors
• Your mobile phone

How to order

Step 1 – Place your order:
Click on "buy now" and place your order. When your order is placed succesfully, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Then continue with step 2.

Step 2 – Send your current transponder:
Send in your current cloned transponder along with a copy of the original proof of purchase as well as a printout of your RC4 Hybrid Transponder order confirmation to the MYLAPS office in your region (klick here for the contact details)

Step 3 – Get your new MYLAPS RC4 Hybrid Transponder:
As soon as we receive your transponder and proof of purchase, we will send you the new MYLAPS RC4 Hybrid Transponder to your shipping address. The shipping time is based on the shipping provider that you can select in the order process.

Upgrade conditions

In addition to our General Terms and Conditions, the following conditions apply to the upgrade from a cloned transponder to the MYLAPS RC4 Hybrid Transponder:

• Only applies to cloned transponders (AMB i.t. / MYLAPS).
• The cloned transponder must be in working order.
• The original purchase date of the cloned transponder must be prior to 1st December 2009.
• MYLAPS will only ship the RC4 Transponder to your shipping address upon receipt of:
  (a) a proof of purchase of the cloned transponder,
  (b) a printout of the upgrade confirmation e-mail, and
  (c) the cloned transponder.
• This special upgrade offer is valid until 31st January 2010 or until stock lasts.
