No late breakfasts on Mother’s Day in Australia – as MultiSport Australia organized the Mother’s Day Classic run! A total of 11.500 runners went for it in the cities of Sydney, Perth, Canberra and Parramatta.

We would like to give you an update on the availability of the MYLAPS Results website.

In the weekend of 14th-15th of April 2012, Ruopiskio MX Club and the Lithuanian Motorcycle Sport Federation (LMSF) organized the first race of LMSF MX Championship of the 2012 season on the Ruopiskio MX track. This year the championship will consist of 5 rounds. The next round will be held at Plungeje on 12-13th May.

We welcome the Russian Road Racing school MotoRRika and MX Racing School Red Racing Group as new member of the MYLAPS Sports Timing Family.

MotoRRika and Red Racing Group are now using the MYLAPS Car/Bike timing system.

The system was first used at the 3rd stage of RRGMOTO-MotoRRika Winter cup in March.

We welcome the Lithuanian Motorcycle Sport Federation as new member of the MYLAPS Sports Timing Family.

In order to provide the best timing services to its racers, the Lithuanian Motorcycle Sport Federation (LMSF) has introduced not only automatic timekeeping but also the personal transponders in the most popular discipline within their federation: Motocross. Gradually the LMSF will continue introducing personal transponders in the disciplines of Circuit Racing, Enduro, Scooter and Supermoto.

Our Taiwanese friends from the Taiwan Chuang Tone Co. Ltd. just recently got their hands on a MYLAPS ProChip system, which they have already been thoroughly using for their roller skating practices and races. At the end of April, they used it for the 9th edition of the Chungli City Roller Skating Race – a race that is organized by the Taiwanese Department of Education, its sport federation and the Tao Yuan Skating Association.

On the 22nd of April there was also another large running event in Spain: The NIKE race in Barcelona which is officially called the “Cursa de Bombers” (Firemen race). In total 24.900 runners registered for this 10K race. From those registered runners 21.742 showed up at the start and just 50 people had to give up during the race, so 21.692 runners finished the 10K race.

The World SBK series is a race series for motor bikes that travels around the globe. In total 14 circuits are hosting these SBK series. Within the SBK series you have four different categories: SuperBike, SuperSport, Stock1000 and Stock600.

The 3rd race of the series was held on the Dutch TT Assen Circuit from the 20th to the 22nd of April. The first two races were held respectively on the circuit of Philip Island (AUS) and on Imola (ITA).
