MYLAPS RUN CHAMPIONCHIP SYSTEM COMPONENTS

The MYLAPS Run ChampionChip System, previously the ChampionChip System, includes hardware and software components, providing you with a complete solution for simple, accurate and reliable timekeeping.

1. MYLAPS RUN_CHAMPIONCHIP

Attached to the runner’s shoe, the ChampionChip sends a unique signal to the detection mats to:

  • Identify the runner
  • Record the exact time at which the runner passed the detection mats

2. MYLAPS_DETECTION MATS

Work as the system antennas to receive all ChampionChip signals. The detection mats are laid across the finish line and all other timing points installed on the course.

3. MYLAPS_CONTROLLER

Attached to the detection mats, the MYLAPS Controller has two functions:

  • It serves as a power source for the mats
  • It decodes the ChampionChip signal into the runner’s ID

The MYLAPS Controller has an integrated battery.

4. MYLAPS EAR

Connected to controllers, the MYLAPS Ear:

  • Manages the controllers
  • Receives the data from the controllers
  • Records and stores the passing times
  • Passes on data to the central computer (through line connection or mobile network)

The MYLAPS Ear has an integrated battery.
