MYLAPS RUN PROCHIP SYSTEM COMPONENTS

The MYLAPS Run ProChip System, previously the AMB ChipX System, includes hardware and software components, providing you with a complete solution for simple, accurate and reliable timekeeping.

1. MYLAPS RUN_PROCHIP

Attached to the runner’s shoe, the Prochip sends a unique signal to the detection loop to:

  • Identify the runner
  • Record the exact time at which the runner passed the detection loop

2. MYLAPS_DETECTION LOOP

Works as the system antenna to receive all Prochip signals. The detection loop is embedded at the finish line and all other timing points installed on the course.

ProChip Decoder or Portable Decoder

3. MYLAPS PROCHIP_DECODER OR_PORTABLE DECODER

Attached to the detection loop, it decodes the transponder signal into the runner’s ID and the exact time that the runner crossed the finish line.

Available in two industry standards, matching your current inventory of timing equipment.

4. MYLAPS_TIMING SOFTWARE

MYLAPS Timing Software, previously Orbits, can be installed on your computer and allows you to generate results:

  • Set up the system
  • Prepare entry lists for each race
  • Process, print and publish official event results
  • Upload event results to mylaps.com
