How it works

MYLAPS Car/Bike Transponders work in combination with the MYLAPS Car Timing System installed on the track at the start/finish line and optionally at intermediate points along the track.

Every time you cross these timing points, your transponder sends a signal to a detection loop embedded in the track. Based on these signals, the system records your lap time and lap counts.

Your lap times and results can be published on:

• mylaps.com (via your MYLAPS account)
• MYLAPS Onboard Display
• Scoreboards/monitors
• Your mobile phone

Extended Warranty
You can add six years of protection with our extended warranty:

• If your transponder is less than 3 years old, you receive basic warranty coverage
• If your transponder is more than 3 but less than 6 years old, you receive a 50% discount on the purchase of a new transponder
• If your transponder is more than 6 but less than 9 years old, you receive a 20% discount on the purchase of a new transponder
