The MYLAPS Intermediate Timing System add-on provides you with detailed race feedback.

Sector times

By adding timing points along the track, you can easily measure sector times. This information gives the event organizer and the audience detailed race feedback, enhancing the entire race experience.

Racer location

You can identify the location of the racers by placing timing points at sector borders. This allows you to track the position of racers along the track.

Speed measurement

Create a speed trap by simply setting up two timing points, one at the beginning and one at the end of the speed trap. Broadcasting speed data, such as the maximum speed, enhances the audience experience of the race.

Safety

Using information about the position of racers and their current speed, you can take more precise safety measures. For example, you can detect if racers exceed speed limits in the pit lane.

Online results

When you upload event or practice results to mylaps.com, all intermediate times are included automatically, providing your members with more detailed statistics for further analysis.

How it works

Adding a timing point only requires one detection loop and one decoder. You can equip the decoders at each timing points with GPS receivers to synchronize all measurement points.
