Classic motorized transponders

FLEX motorized transponders
We guarantee the functioning of the transponder without any time limitation under the following conditions:

  • Customer has an active subscription from the moment of the purchase date;
  • No visual damage can be observed to the transponder;
  • The transponder is used in accordance with the rules in the manual;
  • The damage to the transponder is not caused by carelessness, negligence, willful misconduct or recklessness.

Within 14 days after a defect in the functioning of the transponder has been found the defect must be reported in writing to MYLAPS. Mylaps will examine the transponder after receipt. When MYLAPS finds a defect in the transponder, it will repair this defect if possible. If repair of the transponder is not possible, then another equivalent transponder will be made available. If there is no defect in the functioning of the transponder detected by MYLAPS, the transponder will be returned at the expense of the buyer.


Insurance

FLEX motorized transponders
In addition to the warranty you receive an insurance for the transponder which covers under certain conditions several events that normally would be at your own risk.

The insurance provides coverage for events where there is visible damage to the transponder, for example due to fire or damage caused during use. Theft is specifically not within the insurance coverage. This insurance may be invoked once every three years (awarded).

Other conditions for invoking this insurance are:

  • The damaged transponder has to be received concomitant with the appeal by MYLAPS
  • Customer has an active subscription from the moment of the purchase date;
  • The damage to the transponder is not caused by willful misconduct or recklessness.
