    • What is the life time of a ProChip?

    • The life time of a ProChip depends on how often the ProChip is used. In general a ProChip will last for 5 years.

    • My ProChip is lost / stolen, what should I do?

    • A lost or stolen ProChip is not covered by the MYLAPS warranty agreement. You will need to buy new ProChip. MYLAPS is not able to block your ProChip. When you have registered your ProChip under your account, all activities done with this ProChip will be registered under your account. This may help you track the ProChip.

    • Can I use my MYLAPS ProChip on another manufacturer’s timing system?

    • MYLAPS ProChips are not compatible with any competing system.

    • How can I connect 3rd party software to Toolkit?

    • A TCP/IP exporter needs to be created. In this exporter you can set the host name and port on which 3rd party software can connect to. The 3rd party software will have to listen to this port on the host.

    • How can I register devices to the CCNet Server in Toolkit?

    • Make sure your device is in your offline devices. In the menu bar click on "File" and go to "Preferences...". Open the CCNetServer tab and press the "register Devices on Server…" button. Your offline devices will show on the left side in the tabel (local). Check the box of the device you want to register on the CCNetServer and press "Apply". Your device is now registered on the CCNetServer. <Is not in the manual>

    • Without a credit card a you can't buy in the MYLAPS webshop. If you don't have a credit card yourself, please ask someone in your neighbourhood to help you out or contact MYLAPS for your options.

    • How do I register a second hand ProChip?

    • All owners of a MYLAPS ProChip can create a MYLAPS account to view personal race and / or practice results. Due to privacy regulations it is not possible to register a ProChip that has already been registered. To be able to register a second hand ProChip it needs to be unregistered from previous owner's account. Please visit the used ProChip/transponder section for further instructions.

    • How do I register a ProChip?

    • All owners of a MYLAPS ProChip can create a MYLAPS account to view personal race and / or practice results. You can register your transponder by filling out the registration form in the ‘your results’ section of our website.

      When you try to register a used transponder, please also check "How can I register a second hand ProChip?"

    • Yes, when you log in into your account, you can register up to 3 Prochips.

    • I forgot my password, how can I retrieve my password?

    • If you cannot remember your username or password, you can use our resend login-information page to retrieve your account information. Enter your e-mail address and press the "Submit" button. You will receive an e-mail with the account information linked to this e-mail address.

      When the e-mail address in your account is not in use by you anymore, please contact us via info@mylaps.com. Please state your name, transponder number, old e-mail address and new e-mail address so we will be able to change this for you.

    • Can MYLAPS help me find my missing Prochip?

    • MYLAPS cannot track your stolen or missing ProChip. You can do that yourself by regularly logging into your account and see if it has been used by somebody else.
