Best-in-class race timing for Speedway New Zealand

More than 5,000 drivers in Speedway New Zealand races will benefit from the latest innovations in timekeeping.

MYLAPS Sports Timing and Speedway NZ are excited to announce a long-term partnership, offering best-in-class race timing to participants and their fans. Starting this season all 6,750 races will be timed with MYLAPS technology. All 23 Speedway NZ tracks will be equipped with the MYLAPS X2 System, the standard in automated motorsports timing. Founded in 1982, MYLAPS is the inventor of automatic sports timing and develops technology that is used all over the world, from professional racing series like NASCAR, IndyCar, and MotoGP to countless local races around the world.

All drivers with a personal transponder can check, analyze and share their performance data in the free MYLAPS Speedhive mobile app. This app is used by racers all over the world to track races, compare results, share and increase progress. With the live timing service spectators and fans are able to follow the live results of all Speedway NZ races.

Latest technology combined with a great support network
