Giro d’Italia Donne Road Cycling Stage Race

This year’s Giro d’Italia Donne was the 32nd edition of the annual women’s road cycling stage race, that took place in early July (2-11). The event was timed by our long-time partner MySDAM from Italy, using the blue ProChip Timer transponders and ProChip technology for the best accuracy.

The most prestigious event of the women’s cycling scene gathered 144 athletes and the best 24 teams in the world to compete. The race consisted of ten stages around Italy starting with an individual time trial. During the ten days of the competition, the athletes covered 1,022.7 km in the regions of Piedmont, Liguria, Lombardy, Veneto, and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.

Congratulations to Anna Van der Breggen, for winning her fourth Giro d’Italia Donne title!
