Manchester Road Race to use the new MYLAPS ThinTag

MYLAPS, the world leader and inventor of automatic Sports Timing, is proud to announce that the Manchester Road Race has selected The Last Mile Racing LLC for using the new ThinTag.

Th Manchester Road Race, which will take place on the 24th of November 2017, has grown to be the largest race in Connecticut, the third largest in New England and is in the top 25 largest distance races in the country.

The MYLAPS ThinTag is the new standard in timing and this patented technology will set the Manchester Road Race apart from the competition. The ThinTag is IAAF approved and has a thickness of less than 2mm. The new spacer is designed to only expand in contact with liquid and the ThinTag includes several more benefits:

  • Reduce 90% space of boxes in storage or at expos
  • Save costs on shipping, handling and storage
  • Guaranteed BibTag reliability and read rates
  • Unique selling point to your events, patented technology
  • The only single tag that works, no backup tag required

Ken Larson, Director of Information Technology, Manchester Road Race: “The Manchester Road Race is very pleased to have The Last Mile Racing, LLC as the official timers of our race. In particular with the use of the MYLAPS ThinTag system.  We are one of the very few races that mail our bib number packets to our runners. It is critical that the timing chips can be mailed safely and securely in a first class envelop. It is clear to us that MYLAPS will meet our requirements.”

MYLAPS is excited to work with The Last Mile Racing, LLC and the Manchester Road Race to make the race the best experience for its 15,000+ participants!
