Cleveland based timing company Hermes Sports & Events and MYLAPS partner up to offer best-in-class sports experiences to event organizers and their participants and fans.
Hermes is responsible of timing over 150 road races per year, like the Union Home Mortgage Cleveland Marathon, Guardian Mile and Onyx Health Club Cleveland Turkey Trot. The Cleveland Marathon, that took place last weekend, is one of the 50 oldest marathons in the country and consistently ranks in the top 25 marathons to participate in. Founded in 1982, MYLAPS is the inventor of automatic sports timing and develops technology that is used all over the world, from the Olympics, Boston Marathon, and NASCAR to countless local races.
Proven BibTag technology
To offer state of the art timing results, Hermes relies on the proven BibTag technology. This is the standard timing system suitable for mass events with affordable chips and the highest read-rate in the industry. All bibs will be equipped with the ThinTag, a reliable UHF tag that reduces handling and shipping cost because of a very thin (2mm) design, patented by MYLAPS.
