For running events the BibTag system is the ideal solution. As the bibs are available in a disposable and a reusable version it requires minimal handling and logistics. The bibs are easy to use for participants: they simply wear their bib numbers like they are used to.
Timing Setup

BibTag Decoder
The decoder is attached to the mats and decodes the BibTag signals into the athletes IDs and their measured times. Portable decoders have an integrated battery and can measure up to 50 BibTag passings per second.
The system is especially designed for mass events and can handle a high density of athletes.
Mats
Detection mats are placed at the start, finish and intermediate timing locations. The mats serve as the system’s antennas and detect the signals sent out by the BibTags. We offer modular mats that allow you to create timing locations between 1 and 8 meters wide per system.

EasyMat
The EasyMat is an innovation that helps set up your timelines faster than you could ever imagine. The rollable formula enables you to deploy the timing mat with one movement. The cabling is integrated within the mat, so there’s no more manual cable handling needed. The short setup time (within 1 minute) means minimal road closure time before and after the race.
The mat is compatible with both the MYLAPS BibTag and ProChip systems, which makes it a convenient solution for multiple sports and their unique timing needs. The flat design guarantees safe passing for all sports.
