Race Control – Infrastructure
The Infrastructure products include the essential components of X2 Race Control, the X2 Server, X2 Race Control Manager, and X2 BaseLinks. These products seamlessly integrate with various track features, streamlining operations and improving incident response.
Seamless Race & Track Management
Full Integration: Integration with start lights, info panels, pit controls, timing, CCTV and more enables a complete operational view that lowers administrative work and allows faster reactions to track incidents.
Live Tracking: Accurate, reliable live GPS tracking of all vehicles, including safety team cars, enables faster dispatch and response times, leading to fewer track closures, better rental client service, tighter adherence to sporting regulations, and improved safety.
2-Way Communication
Communicate Live Position Data: Share live position data in real-time with broadcasters, teams and the fans to enhance event coverage and insights.
Receive Critical Vehicle Data: The 2-way CANbus communication enables live vehicle telemetry for scrutineering and broadcast data including oil pressure, revs, gear and tire pressure, while critical failure alerts improve safety and reduce downtime.

X2 Race Control Manager Software
X2 Race Control Manager software gives complete oversight of real-time track infrastructure, competition, and vehicle data, to help you improve and streamline your race control operations.
- Intuitive track mapping
- Live marshaling overview of trackside Light Panels
- Follow and flag vehicles sector-by-sector
- Timestamping logs for post-race review
- Complete incident logs
X2 Link Server
The X2 Link server is the beating heart of the X2 Race Control infrastructure. All components are connected to and controlled from this core device. It is available in Club and Pro housing.
With X2 Link, it is possible to:
- Improve race control with live tracking based on live GPS positions
- Send on-board flag signals to all vehicles
- Show live positions of all vehicles to spectators, online followers, and pit crews
- Receive live data from vehicles and utilize the data for scrutineering and broadcasting
X2 BaseLink
Allows communication to and from the vehicle (2-way). Multiple X2 BaseLinks for full coverage on larger tracks.
The BaseLink sends out radio frequency signals, which are picked up by the X2 RaceLink antennas mounted on each vehicle. The BaseLink is installed at the start/finish line, on a position with a maximum line of sight, for instance on top of a finish arch. This will ensure an optimized wireless connection with the RaceLink installed on the vehicles. The BaseLink connects to the LoopBox, which also powers the BaseLink. The Ethernet port connection to the LoopBox ensures a high-quality signal.
