What a remarkable journey it has been at the 2023 World Driving Championship held at Victoria Park in Wolvega! The race, the power of competition, and the innovation of MYLAPS combined to create an unforgettable horse racing event.
We are happy to say that the race was a success, and MYLAPS played a pivotal role in taking the horse racing experience to new heights.
During the live broadcast, captivating an audience of over 60,000 viewers worldwide, MYLAPS delivered live sectional timings and speeds for each horse. From start to finish, our timing system captured every moment. We ensured not only accuracy but also instant and reliable race timing and comprehensive data collection.
Additionally, we also had the opportunity to share our vision for the future of horse racing. We offered insights in an exclusive interview, detailing MYLAPS’ blueprint for revolutionizing the sport. Our commitment to elevating the horse racing experience was at the forefront of our conversation.
Race Format
The World Driving Championship is hosted in 3 countries: Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany with 10 drivers competing in 20 races. The first leg was here at Victoria Park in Wolvega, Netherlands. After this, the jockeys will travel to Germany and Belgium for the 2nd and 3rd legs. For the final leg, the 2023 World Driving Champion will be crowned on Friday, August 18 after the final race in Berlin.
